Research area weißensee: development of concepts for products employing smart materials; a survey and case study analysis of already existing design-relevant projects with smart materials; and a concept for the public presentation of the entire smart³ – materials, solution, growth project outcomes, including a comprehensive exhibition. In addition, an education concept for aiding young designers wishing to embrace smart materials was developed.
